Moving Company In Mission Viejo Completes Multi-Stage Pack And Move

For one of our customers, the logistics of completing a multi-day pack and move operation seemed overwhelming. We made the project much more organized and got the job done efficiently. The completion of this residential move involved pre-planning and packing, staging items for loading, transport to short-term storage and moving into the new location. Our moving company in Mission Viejo did the work with well-coordinated teams of movers at a competitive price.

When doing a moving project such as the one described here, advance planning is so important. We worked with the customer in advance to determine what our crews would be doing and at what stage of the process they would be needed. Our customer provided some of the necessary packing materials which were supplemented by materials we provided. We made sure that we had the appropriate amount and types of packing supplies so that there were no delays in the packing and loading process.

Choreographing a complex move such as this one requires timing and precision at every stage. Our movers were careful to show up at the appointed time, and with all of the necessary people, supplies, and equipment necessary to get the packing, sorting and loading done efficiently. The packing portion took 7.25 hours with five men at a total cost of $1,484.00.

We then moved the customer into our storage facility for a short hold on July 24th, 2018 with four men and two trucks for 19.5 hours at a cost of $4,429.00. We moved our customer out of our storage and into her new home in Coto De Caza on August 2nd, 2018 for 10.25 hours and a cost of $3,377.00.

The launch site of this move was a 4500 square foot home in Coto De Caza. The customer moved out of a two-story house was located at the end of a cul de sac. In a move of this size, we staged various pieces of furniture and boxes outside the house so that it can be packed in a way to fill every nook and cranny in the truck. This helps to protect furniture from damage during the transportation phase and reduces the number of vehicles needed to complete the loading.

This customer needed special handling for a number of fragile and valuable items, including glass china cabinets, curio cabinets and granite table tops throughout the residence. We were able to plan for and implement special handling and transportation techniques for items such as these.

Our moving crew worked well with each other and was responsive to the needs and preferences of our customer throughout each stage of the move. We were able to provide safe storage for the customer during the transitional period between moving out and moving in.
